The activity measurement procedure for gamma emitting radionuclides with energy from 50 to 3000 keV in the counting samples of laboratory geometries in the range from 1 to 106 Bq with the use of gamma-radiation spectrometers with SpectraLine and Nuclide Master Plus software has been developed by LSRM and detailed in the document "The activity measurement procedure for gamma emitting radionuclides in counting samples with the use of gamma radiation spectrometers and SpectraLine and Nuclide Master Plus software". It has been certified under national standards.

The procedure of measuring the activity of gamma-emitting radionuclides in containers with wastes, using a gamma-spectrometric system with software "LSRM" - SpectraLine and EffMaker

The procedure of measuring the activity of gamma-emitting radionuclides in containers with wastes, using a gamma-spectrometric system with software "LSRM" - SpectraLine and EffMaker has been developed by LSRM and FGUP VNIIFTRI. It is detailed in the document «Procedure of measuring the activity of gamma-emitting radionuclides in containers with wastes, using a gamma-spectrometric system with software "LSRM" - SpectraLine and EffMaker» and has passed the metrological certification under the national standards GOST R 8.563 and GOST R 8.594.

On the basis of the performed operations (experimental measurements and theoretical calculations) for the specification of the range of measurement of the specific activity the following correction should be done in the text of the Procedure:
the item 5.2 "The measurement range of the specific activity of the gamma-emitting radionuclide 137Cs in a 200 liter barrel with water for a non-collimated detector from 10 to 105 Bq/kg (the lower limit is indicated for measurement time of 1 hour) for the detector with a collimator and a filter is from 103 to 106 Bq/kg." shall be stated as "The measurement range of the specific activity of the gamma-emitting radionuclide 137Cs in a 200 liter barrel with water for a non-collimated detector from 10 to 105 Bq/kg (the lower limit is indicated for measurement time of 1 hour) for the detector with a collimator and a filter is from 103 to 109 Bq/kg."

As the Procedure is designed to measure containers of different masses, including NRSC with a mass of up to 10 ton,
the item "6.1.3 Technical weight scale with a measurable mass limit of 700 kg and measurement error of not more than 5%"
shall be stated as follows: "6.1.3 Technical weight scale with a measurable mass limit of 10 ton and measurement error of not more than 5%".
